UK brand, Dirty London, continues their tradition of creating Thought-Provoking designs with their latest release. Their 4th collection contains several striking black & white graphic prints, each using a combination of images & text to create exciting or provocative artwork.
In addition to the large, trademark graphics the London streetwear brand has become known for, the latest release features many pieces that sway from their usual design template. Three full, sublimated shirts inject some colour & flair to range, while ‘The Motto’ shirt incorporates a huge print to the rear of the tee, featuring the quote ‘Risk Takers & Rule Breakers & Over Achievers & Self Believers’, part of their brand statement.
‘We try to give people something to think about, we love when people ask what the designs mean, or tell us how they interpret them. Just like any Artwork, it’s subjective & everyone can take something different from it’ – Creative Director Charlie Parkins gives his view on the design principle which has seen the brand build a strong reputation and faithful following during the first year or so of the project.
Last Summer’s collection cemented the Londoners’ place in the streetwear scene. Brand Director, Dan Hart, says his favourite moment of 2013 was seeing their products photographed on UK star Plan B.
‘Thought-Provoking, Contemporary Streetwear” is what they say they produce, and this latest, imaginative release looks to be the start of an electrifying year for one of the capitals most exciting new brands.
