If you had to make a list of the most controversial topics, you’d probably have things on the list like gay marriage, racism, immigration, and sexism. But if you think about it, war has gotta be the number one choice on the list. There’s the ongoing debate about whether war is necessary or not. People criticize American about being involved in wars (people from other countries, and Americans themselves). But if American stayed out of wars oversees, the Nazis would have taken over the world back in the 1940s, wouldn’t they have? Then again, wars like the Iraq war and Vietnam war have been complete wastes of money, in which lots of people died, but nothing was really solved.
There are four groups of people when it comes to the debate on war: those who are completely anti-war and go to every protest rally; those who want their country to go to war, but don’t actually enlist in the military (even though their able-bodied); those who actually enlist in the military, but aren’t necessarily pro-war; and those who are anti-war because it’s “it’s the cool thing to be”. Whether you’re pro-war or anti-war, you can still enjoy these cool war related t-shirts.
